AdventHealth Sebring is seeking a dynamic and hardworking physician to serve as Assistant Program Director for their new Internal Medicine Residency Program accepting 8 new residents each year.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide mentoring, teaching and supervision of the faculty, residents and students in the inpatient and outpatient setting as well as seeing private patients in the Internal Medicine Program.
  • Assists the program director in mentoring and providing critical evaluations of the clinical and teaching effectiveness of the internal medicine residents and program.
  • Ensures adequate physician, resident and other provider supervision of the outpatient teaching services.

Faculty for  Internal Medicine Residency Program

A great new opportunity is available in a new ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency program.

Seeking an enthusiastic Internal Medicine faculty to assist our 24 Resident Program (8-8-8), community-based program that began this year in Sebring, Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide mentoring, teaching and supervision of the faculty, residents and students in the Internal Medicine Program.

AdventHealth Medical Group is currently seeking two board certified/board eligible Perinatologists to join our leading, accredited women’s health care services at AdventHealth Tampa as Core Faculty for a new Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program. If you are passionate about teaching with a desire to provide whole person care in a faith-based environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Practice Description:

You will be joining an existing Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) team which works closely with OB hospitalists and our employed Obstetricians to provide comprehensive coordinated care and support the educational mission of the residency program.

Clinical scope of practice includes the full range of MFM including ultrasound prenatal diagnosis, consultative high-risk obstetrical care, and invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.

Scope of Core faculty responsibilities include participating in the recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, evaluation, and advancement of residents. All Core faculty members are expected to be role models of professionalism, demonstrate commitment to the delivery of safe, quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care, and demonstrate a strong interest in the education of residents.

Education / Clinical Experience:

    1. Graduation from accredited allopathic (MD) or osteopathic (DO) medical school
    2. Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
    3. Prior experience as residency program faculty strongly desired

Licensure:

    1. Active Florida medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure).

Certification / Registration:

Nurse Practitioner, Endo, Diabetes, and Metabolism

AdventHealth Tampa is currently seeking a Bariatric/Obesity Medicine Nurse Practitioner for our Bariatric and Metabolic Institute. This would be an employed opportunity with AHMG, which has over 400 physicians and APP's in the West Florida Division, Advent Health's fastest growing division in the system. AdventHealth has 50 hospitals in 10 states and 30 hospitals are in sunny Florida. The West Florida Division has 11 hospitals. The position is located at AdventHealth Tampa which has 536 beds and is the tertiary center. A brand new Taneja Center for Surgery just opened in October with 18 OR's and 96 additional patient beds were added.

The Bariatric and Metabolic Institute is seeking an additional full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide inter-disciplinary bariatric services.  This position will join a team of 3 bariatric surgeons, 2 surgical fellows, 4 mid-level providers, certified bariatric nurses, dietitians, psychologists, and support staff.  

Duties include developing and supervising a medical weight loss program, managing complex nutritional patients and implementation of best practices in weight management.  Additional duties include pre-operative and post-operative care of bariatric surgical patients in an outpatient setting. Prior experience in Bariatrics preferred or specialization in endocrinology medicine.
