Faculty for Family Medicine Residency Program

A great new opportunity is available in a new ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency program.

Seeking an enthusiastic Behavioralist Family Medicine faculty to assist a 24 Resident Program (8-8-8), community-based program in Sebring, Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide mentoring, teaching and supervision of the faculty, residents and students in the Family Medicine Program.
  • Serve as an advisor and role model
  • Assists the program director in mentoring and providing critical evaluations of the clinical and teaching effectiveness of the family medicine residents and program.
  • Ensures adequate physician, resident and other provider supervision of the outpatient teaching services.
  • Serves as a preceptor for residents who see patients in the FMP.
  • Serves as a role model by seeing patients within the FMP.
  • Practice and teach full-spectrum behavioral health medicine
  • Provide clinical supervision of medical students and residents in an outpatient setting
  • Teach didactics and assist in leading curriculum development

Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care

AdventHealth Sebring is seeking a dynamic experienced BC/BE Pulmonology/Critical Care physician to provide care in both the in and outpatient settings.  This will be an employed position with AdventHealth joining a dynamic, hardworking physician and an APRN with excellent support staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • ICU coverage in open ICUs
  • EBUS and Bronchoscopy offered in the hospital
  • ER back up call is 10 days a month

AdventHealth Dade City/AdventHealth Zephyrhills is recruiting another board eligible/board certified robotically trained Bariatric Surgeon to Advent Health Medical Group General Surgery & Bariatrics at Dade City  group of 5 physicians (1 Bariatric Surgeon/4 General Surgeons) and 1 APP. There is a brand new office location in San Antonio, FL located right off of Interstate 75, not far from Wesley Chapel. Wesley Chapel,  a growing suburb of Tampa with excellent schools also is home to the 1st lagoon neighborhood, Epperson,  in the US. A 2nd lagoon neighborhood, Mirada is in San Antonio, FL near the office.  The practice is opening a 2nd office location in North Lakeland area of FL. The two hospitals, located just 12 minutes apart both have XI robots. AdventHealth Zephyrhills has 149 beds and AdventHealth Dade City has 120 beds.   AdventHealth Zephyrhills has 8 OR's, AdventHealth Dade City has 5 OR's.
