Work Hours/Shift: Full Time

Will Be Responsible For:

  • Provide services similar to those of a physician.
  • Examine patients, take medical histories, maintain patient records, identify health risk factors, prescribe medications, make referrals and otherwise treat health conditions.

AdventHealth Ocala and AdventHealth Medical Group are  looking for a dynamic and energetic, BE/BC Endovascular Neurosurgeon or Neuro-Interventional Neurologist to start a new Neuro IR program. The Siemens bi-plane is here and ready for you! Board certified neurosurgeons, a robust neuro-hospitalist program and thrombolytic capabilities are already in place.

AdventHealth Ocala is expanding the Neuroscience service line to build a comprehensive interventional neuroradiology program providing neurosurgical services and the neurological support for the care and treatment of cerebrovascular events requiring surgical intervention. Our aim is to provide top notch care to the Marion County community closer to home.

Fellowship training and subspecialty focus in INR is required for this opportunity. Neurosurgery candidate should have expertise in cerebrovascular surgery and a neurology candidate should be trained in endovascular and interventional neurology.

What are we looking for? BE/BC fellowship trained Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join a growing Neuroscience Program in one of Central Florida's fastest growing communities. The incoming surgeon will join an established Neurosurgery practice. AdventHealth Ocala is currently a TJC Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center seeking Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification. Surgeon would have the benefit of utilizing state of the art modalities, including a newly constructed Bi-Plane OR suite to support neuroendovascular procedures in a quickly growing market at a top tiered Hospital.
