Location: Tampa, FL - Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology

AdventHealth Medical Group is currently seeking board certified/board eligible OBGYNs to join our leading, accredited women’s health care services at AdventHealth Tampa as Core Faculty for a new Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program. If you are passionate about teaching with a desire to provide whole person care in a faith-based environment, we would love to hear from you.

Practice Description:

You will be helping to create a team of Ambulatory Generalists, and work in collaboration with OBGYN hospitalists, Gynecologic Surgeons, FPMRS, and MFM to provide comprehensive coordinated care and support the educational mission of the residency program.

Primary scope of the teaching-centered clinical practice is the breadth of ambulatory OBGYN and gynecologic surgery. Inpatient OBGYN Hospitalist experience is also available, if desired.

Scope of Core faculty responsibilities include participating in the recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, evaluation, and advancement of residents. All Core faculty members are expected to be role models of professionalism, demonstrate commitment to the delivery of safe, quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care, and demonstrate a strong interest in the education of residents.

Education / Clinical Experience:

  1. Graduation from accredited allopathic (MD) or osteopathic (DO) medical school
  2. Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  3. Prior experience as residency program faculty strongly desired


    1. Active Florida medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure).

Certification / Registration:

    1. Current certification or active candidate for certification in the specialty by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
    2. Ability to obtain appropriate medical staff appointment at AdventHealth Tampa

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an OBGyn to join an existing practice located in beautiful Ocala, Florida - Horse Capital of the World! The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Active FL license (or ability to secure unrestricted FL medical license)
  • Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Proficiency in robotic surgery (preferred, but not required)
  • Desire to work collaboratively with clinical staff and be an active participant in educational opportunities, steering committees and the medical staff

Physician Assistant, Surgical: Neurosurgical
Ocala, FL

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a growing Neurosurgery program at AdventHealth Ocala. The role involves full-scope neurosurgical (brain and spine) management of patients at AdventHealth Ocala and will include hospital rounding, surgical first assist in the OR, inpatient consults, hospital follow-ups in the office and assisting with practice call.

General Summary:
The PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician(s), who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s), is responsible for:
•    Performing histories and physical exams on orthopedic patients in both the office and hospital
•    Handling daily patient rounds, patient education and discharge summaries
•    Ramp up independent patient management and fracture care with follow up visits
•    First assisting in the Operating Room
•    Practice/ED call coverage
•    Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, such as laboratory, X-ray, MRI, etc.
•    Assisting patient and family with pre- and post-procedural education
•    Monitoring the patient’s course of treatment and places orders for referral to the appropriate specialist
•    Collaborating with physician and staff to provide consistent care to the patients
•    Displays a caring and professional attitude at all time as well as maintaining personal and professional growth

Knowledge and Skills Required:
•    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public; Strong communication skills
•    Ability to work flexible schedule including call rotation, nights, weekends
•    Ability to excel in a fast-paced clinic with highly acute patients
•    Experience in the OR 

Required Education/Experience:
•    Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies 
•    Experience as a PA-C in Orthopedic (highly preferred)

Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care
Sebring, FL

Location: Sebring, FL - Specialty: Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care

AdventHealth Sebring is seeking a dynamic experienced BC/BE Pulmonology/Critical Care physician to provide care in both the in and outpatient settings.  This will be an employed position with AdventHealth joining a dynamic, hardworking physician and an APRN with excellent support staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • ICU coverage in open ICUs
  • EBUS and Bronchoscopy offered in the hospital
  • ER back up call is 10 days a month
  • Facilitating consults
  • Managing clinic
  • Provide appropriate oversight and clinical teaching of medical students, family medicine residents and other learners.
